Even with AI tools that can write realistic filler copy in seconds, Lorem Ipsum remains the default in most design tools and templates because it's instantly recognizable as placeholder text — nobody mistakes it for a real draft, which avoids the awkward situation of a client or stakeholder reacting to filler copy as if it were finished writing. It's also completely neutral: it doesn't imply a tone, industry, or brand voice the way generated "realistic" filler text can accidentally do, which keeps early layout reviews focused purely on structure.
